What is the difference between Vegetarian and Vegan food?

Vegetarians and vegans share similarities as both choose not to eat meat. Veganism can be stricter as eggs and dairy products like cheese are prohibited which are derived from animal products. Vegans can consume alliums unlike vegetarians.

Is it safe for me to eat at Botanict if I have a strict Vegan diet?

Absolutely! We provide vegan dishes that use absolutely no ingredients from animals such as egg, diary and honey.

Does our food contain garlic and onion?

No, our food does not contain garlic, onions and any plant species of garlicky herbs that consists of scallions, leeks, chives, onions, shallots and garlic.

Are our food gluten free?

Our plant-based meals contain gluten.

Are Botanict Halal?

No, we are not Halal certified. Customers may be interested to know we never use alcohol in our food preparation and there is no pork and lard content.

Why do we use cheese and eggs in our plant-based meals?

We are a vegetarian food operator that consumes dairy products and eggs. Lacto-ovo vegetarians is the most common type of meatless diet and we fall under this category.

  • Our egg oyster omelette, baked rice and pasta dishes are prepared using separate kitchen tools, preparation bowls and frying pans.
Are Vegetarian food fattening and unhealthy?

Many perceived vegetarian food to be greasy and heavy in gluten mock meat. At Botanict, we prepare our dishes with less oil. We try to use natural ingredients such as tofu and mushrooms for some dishes to eliminate the use of gluten mock meat.

Are home-made ingredients and pastes used vegan and vegetarian friendly?

Yes, all our home-made pastes are 100% vegan and vegetarian friendly with no alliums content, eggs and dairy products in the recipe.

What packaging materials are used for my takeaway and delivery order?

We try to be a socially responsible enterprise and will be transitioning to using sustainable and biodegradable packaging supplies.

What should I do if our orders arrive late and are no longer warm?

We are sorry if the food is no longer warm. Heating up with the microwave or steaming usually does the trick.

Can our food be refrigerated and kept overnight?

Yes, our food can be kept overnight. Simply refrigerate the portion that is uneaten by sealing them properly in an air-tight container. They can be reheated for consumption the next day.

Our vegan Otah, Belachan Grilled Fish and Lionmare Rendang can be kept in the freezer for a week or chiller for 2 days.

How do I place an online order?

You can place your order directly here. You can also order directly from Grab and Foodpanda. Simply search for “Botanict” and voila!

Can I place an order without signing up as a member?

Yes, you can. Simply key in your mobile number or email address, proceed to add items into your cart and you are good to checkout.

What is myBotanict Loyalty Programme about?

What payment methods do we accept?

We accept most payment methods. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and UnionPay

How will I know my order is out for delivery?

You can track the progress of your order via the app used to place the order. You will receive notifications once your order is dispatched and out for delivery.

Can I place my Take Away order in advance?

Yes, you can place your order in advance. Simply click here. Select the Take Away option and your preferred date and time for collection.

How do I self-collect if I choose the Take Away option?

Please go to level 2 (near multi storey carpark) and look for Select Cloud Kitchen.

How to collect:

  1. Once the food is ready, your Queue number starting with BXXX will be displayed on the screen with a locker number assigned to it.
  2. Once you arrive, look out for the screen and proceed to your assigned locker to collect your order. It is that simple!
How do I stay up to date with launches and promotions at Botanict?

Can I cancel my order after order has been confirmed?

We do not accept cancellations once your order is confirmed. In the event of delivery delays of more than 2 hours, please kindly contact us. We will proceed to cancel your order and you will be refunded in your original payment method.

Why am I encountering issues when placing my order?

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we are working to resolve these issues. 

  1. Do ensure the device you are using when placing your order is the latest Android or Apple version.
  2. If you are using your mobile device and face issues, try to close the tabs. You can also try to use a different browser on your mobile phone.
  3. If you are encountering a problem when ordering from a browser like Chrome, kindly clear cache and cookies before attempting to reload the ordering page. If you are using other browsers like Safari and Microsoft Edge, please check its support site for instructions.
  4. If you still encounter issues, please contact us directly or email us.
Why am I unable to add a particular dish to my order?
  1. Some specialty dishes are only available for orders on specific days. Follow us on social media @bontanictsg for more details.
  2. You may also encounter this issue when the item is sold out for the day. 
Why is my delivery address displayed as undeliverable?

At this moment, our delivery area covers up to 20km radius from our location at Tampines Mart. If the delivery address is out of zone (exceeds 20km), the address will be reflected as undeliverable.
